Dr. Elyasa Al-Gharibeh

Dr. Elyasa Al-Gharibeh is currently an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the Applied Science University, where he teaches courses including Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Thermal Systems Design, Renewable Energy, and Combustion. He is also actively involved in several administrative committees. 

Dr. Al-Gharibeh earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho-United States, focusing on combustion kinetics and alternative fuels. His research interests center on renewable energy systems, sustainable development, and advanced combustion technologies.

Dr. Al-Gharibeh previously served as a Research and Development Engineer at Architecture Technology Corporation-United States, where he led innovative engineering projects and secured funding through Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) proposals. His role involved collaboration with federal agencies such as NASA, DOD, and FAA, as well as fostering partnerships with academic institutions to advance research in alternative energy technologies.

Dr. Al-Gharibeh has published several journals articles, focusing on topics such as renewable energy systems, combustion characteristics, and the techno-economic assessment of energy systems. His work has been presented at various national and international conferences.
