The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology – Applied Science Private University organized a distinguished scientific visit to PETRA Engineering Industries, one of the leading national industrial companies specialized in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.
This visit was supported by the university and excellently coordinated by the ASHRAE – ASU Student Branch, as part of the department’s continuous efforts to strengthen the integration between theoretical knowledge and practical application, while linking educational outcomes with labor market requirements.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to gain direct exposure to the latest technologies used in the design and manufacturing of HVAC systems, explore production lines and quality control mechanisms, and learn about the practical and engineering challenges facing this vital sector.
The visit also contributed to reinforcing the scientific concepts studied in classrooms and transforming them into tangible practical experiences, thereby enhancing students’ professional readiness and their ability to keep pace with modern engineering developments efficiently and competently.
The Deanery of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the management and staff of PETRA Engineering Industries for their warm hospitality and fruitful cooperation, and to the ASHRAE – ASU Student Branch for their outstanding efforts in organizing and coordinating the visit. The university also values its continuous support for such high-quality activities that contribute to developing students’ skills and strengthening their academic and professional journey.
