In 1994, Prof. Abu-Samak received his BS in Biological Sciences from “Aleppo University, Arab Republic of Syria”. In 1999, he earned his Ph.D. degree in Human Physiology and Endocrine System from Moldova State University. In 2015, He was promoted to Full Professor in human physiology at Applied Science Private University/ Faculty of He was appointed head of Medical Laboratories Department, ASU / 2001-2003, head of Medical Imaging Technology Department -GCMS, Saudi Arabia / 2010-2011, Head of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics Department- ASU-Pharmacy/2014-2018.
He is currently leading D+ research team (Current research in Prof. Abu- lab emphasizes the consequences of high doses of vitamin D supplements in a combination with other drugs and supplements in health and disease. He has authored some 60 scientific articles including "Randomized Clinical Trials (RCTs)". He supervised dozens of graduate students in pharmaceutical sciences and clinical laboratories. He was awarded "Doctor of year" prize in 2015 and the distinguished researcher in Scopus database at the Faculty of Pharmacy for the academic year 2022/2023c. His concerns also include highlight biofeedback system as a scientific keystone of the philosophy of physiology science.
