In fulfillment of the objectives of the Community Service Committee and inspired by a sense of religious and social responsibility, and with the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year, the Community Service Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Local Community Committee of the Jordan Pharmacists Association, organized the seventeenth School Bag Initiative under the theme “My School Bag: A Launchpad for Excellence.”

The initiative included the distribution of 120 school bags, along with stationery supplies, in coordination with the Directorate of Education of Ain Al-Basha District. Students from the committee participated in distributing the school bags to students from underprivileged families and orphans at Bilal Bin Rabah School and Hudhayfah ibn Al-Yaman District School in Ain Al-Basha. The initiative aimed to support the students at the beginning of the new academic year and wished them a successful, productive year filled with achievement and excellence.

Representing the Community Service Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy was Dr. Manal Ayyash, while Dr. Khaled Al-Waheedi represented the Local Community Committee of the Jordan Pharmacists Association.

It is worth noting that such initiatives, which strengthen community partnerships among professional organizations, higher education institutions, and local community stakeholders, promote the concepts of social responsibility, solidarity, and community engagement among pharmacy students. These initiatives continue to receive ongoing support from the Faculty Deanship and the University Presidency.
