In line with the efforts of the International Relations Office at Applied Science Private University to strengthen academic partnerships and expand avenues of collaboration with Arab universities, the University welcomed an academic delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt, comprising Dr. Manal Abdel Hamid Shaltout, Director of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and Head of the Department of Interior Design and Furniture at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Benha University, and Dr. Asmaa Ahmed Mohamed Ziada from the Department of Islamic History and Islamic Civilization at Fayoum University.

The visit explored prospects for academic and artistic collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, represented by Prof. Imad Fahmawi, as well as opportunities to establish future partnerships with Benha and Fayoum Universities, particularly in the fields of arts, design, and architecture.

The program also included a tour of the Faculty of Arts, during which the guests viewed students’ work in the Fashion and Accessories and Arts departments, as well as the Accessories Exhibition, which showcases state-of-the-art specialized equipment and technologies and is considered the first of its kind in the Middle East. Dr. Manal Shaltout expressed her appreciation for the students’ creative and artistic achievements, while Dr. Asmaa Ziada particularly admired the works inspired by Islamic art, heritage, and civilization.

The visit underscores the University’s commitment to developing high-quality academic and artistic partnerships, promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and creating new opportunities for collaboration and joint projects with academic institutions across the Arab region and beyond.
