The International Relations Office at the Applied Science Private University (ASU) seeks to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into its programs and initiatives to promote education, innovation, inclusivity, and global partnerships. The Office’s contributions to the SDGs include the following:
1. International Partnerships (Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals)
- Encouraging global partnerships among universities and research institutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Signing international agreements and academic cooperation programs to enhance the university’s global impact.
2. Quality Education (Goal 4: Quality Education)
- Providing exchange programs, scholarships, and joint programs that enhance the quality of education at the international level.
- Promoting cultural openness and diversity of experiences to achieve inclusive and high-quality education.
3. Gender Equality and Social Justice (Goals 5 & 10: Gender Equality & Reduced Inequalities)
- Empowering students and staff from diverse backgrounds through equal opportunities in international exchanges and scholarships.
- Raising awareness of diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.
4. Innovation and Scientific Research (Goals 9 & 12: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure & Responsible Consumption and Production)
- Supporting international research collaboration to develop sustainable solutions to global challenges such as energy, water, and health.
