ASU Hosts the Second Session of Research Capacity Building Workshops in Collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC)

​​​As part of its continuous efforts to advance the research environment and enhance the academic and practical skills of its students, Applied Science Private University hosted the second session of the “NRC Research Capacity Building Workshops” series, delivered by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC).

The workshop witnessed active participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as a number of interested academics and administrative staff. The workshop focused on the following themes:

- Humanitarian Data Collection

- Quantitative Analysis using Excel

- Introduction to Power BI

- Data Visualization and Analysis

The workshop aimed to develop participants’ research skills and strengthen their capacities in data analysis and the use of modern technological tools in scientific research and humanitarian work, with remarkable engagement from the participating students.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants were awarded certificates of attendance in recognition of their active participation and commitment to the training requirements.
