Dr. Safaa Jahameh is an Associate Professor in Graphic Design at Applied Science Private University, Jordan. She earned her PhD from the University of Bolton, UK, in 2019. Her research focuses on Islamic graphic design, Arabic typography, and visual cultural heritage. She has presented her work internationally and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as Fatimid tombstone inscriptions, Islamic manuscript ornamentation, and Arabic digital typography. Dr. Jahameh actively contributes to academia as a reviewer and editor for international journals and participates in academic arbitrations and workshops on Arabic calligraphy and graphic design technologies. Her achievements include being a finalist for the British Alumni Awards (2022) and holding the highest M-Index in Scopus at her faculty of Art and Design(2023).
