The Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University welcomed a student delegation from Violet Flower School on Sunday, April 26, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with schools and introduce students to the creative disciplines offered by the faculty.
The visit included a guided tour of several of the faculty’s facilities, including the exhibition gallery, the materials lab, and the fashion and accessories design labs. During the tour, students were introduced to the academic and practical learning environment within the faculty.
The delegation was received by a number of faculty members. Dr. Sara Al-Khateeb presented an overview of the Fashion and Accessories Design Department, while Lec. Hiba Tawalbeh introduced the Visual Communication and Design specialization. Lec. Baha Shehab Mualla also provided an introduction to the Interior Design Department, highlighting the nature of study in each discipline as well as key creative fields and career opportunities.
Students expressed their appreciation for the visit and the valuable insights it provided into the different disciplines. They also gained a clearer understanding of how creative ideas are transformed into practical projects and tangible outcomes within a design environment. The students further expressed their admiration for the artistic and technical quality of the exhibited works, as well as the dynamic learning atmosphere that reflects a strong spirit of innovation within the faculty.
This visit comes as part of the faculty’s continuous efforts to strengthen partnerships with schools and provide students with opportunities to explore their academic interests and gain closer insight into the fields of art and design, contributing to more informed academic and professional future pathways.
