Dr. Safa Daoud is an Associate professor in Drug Design and Medicinal Chemistry. She joined the PhD program at The University of Jordan and was awarded the degree in 2017. Dr. Daoud's research is focused on computer-aided drug design with a particular emphasis on identifying new inhibitors for diverse drug targets through the application of both structure-based and ligand-based approaches. Her expertise extends to drug repurposing and the integration of various machine learning algorithms into the drug discovery process. She has contributed to the field with multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
