Under the patronage of Dr. Samiha Jarrah - President of the Applied Science Private University, the Faculty of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Jordan Pharmacists Association, held a special scientific day for pharmacists under the title

“Continuing pharmaceutical education at Rehab Applied School”.

This was on Thursday, February 22, 2024, where the lectures and workshops varied between the role of artificial intelligence in the pharmacy profession and its applications, with discussion of the Hakeem electronic program, and how to provide some emergency first aid procedures, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The ideal use of medicines and the concept of pharmacovigilance also had a large share of this day, and members of the Pharmaceutical Development and Continuing Education Committee from the Pharmacists Association reviewed the laws for renewing the practice of the profession and answered the questions of many attending pharmacists.

In the last session of the day, field training for students of the faculty of Pharmacy as well as the faculty’s goals for this training were discussed from the perspective of pharmacists and the association.

Dr. Samiha Jarrah - President of the University and Dr. Samar Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, honored the main speakers and the attending companies on this scientific day.

It is worth noting that more than 100 pharmacists attended this scientific day, on the sidelines of which an exhibition for pharmaceutical companies was held. This day was well received by the attendees.
