When it comes to working in the pharmaceutical field, it is necessary to understand the mentality of people around you. This will make it easier to predict how different people react to your requests and demands, thus you can tailor the right approach to address them. Therefore, the pharmacy practice group held an interactive discussion session under the title 'Dealing with different personal profiles' by Dr. Mazen Abu-Samha (Janssen Pharmaceuticals - country head). The lecture discussed the following: - Recognizing the nature of the person in front of you and how to interact with him/her in different situations. - The importance of self-development to attain the skills for effective discussion with different people who have different natures. - The main four personality types and the traits for each one. - Realizing that being able to understand other people with diverse traits while maintaining an open mindset will help develop their character. It is worth mentioning that this lecture had intrigued the students, which reflected positively on the lecture's attendance. Thus, the students were encouraged to interact, making the discussion even more enjoyable. This was a good indicator that students were willing to change their perspective and develop further to be prepared for the labor market. Pharmacy practice group appreciate the efforts of Dr. Mazen Abu-Samha and looking forward to our next workshop.
