Trip to the Royal Botanic Garden

On Thursday, May 14, 2026, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at the faculty of pharmacy organized an educational field trip to the newly inaugurated Royal Botanic Garden, established to conserve rare and endangered plant species.

During the visit, a specialized guide from the Garden accompanied a group of students enrolled in the Herbal Medicine course on a tour exploring the Garden’s various sections and rich biodiversity. The Garden is home to more than 600 species of Jordanian plants, providing students with a valuable opportunity to learn about the country's native flora and their ecological significance.

It is worth noting that the Royal Botanic Garden is one of Jordan’s distinguished national projects, supported by a Royal Vision aimed at protecting biodiversity and promoting sustainable development within local communities. The Garden represents a unique destination that combines education, conservation, and recreation, making it well worth visiting for both learning and enjoyment.
