21-5-2026

As part of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to providing a comprehensive educational environment that combines academic knowledge with practical training, and following the success of the first workshop and the strong interest demonstrated by students, the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Social and Cultural Committee organized the second training workshop entitled “Injection Techniques, Blood Sampling, and Wound Suturing” on Thursday, 21/05/2026, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Applied Science Private University.

The workshop aimed to develop students’ essential clinical skills and enhance their readiness for professional practice in various healthcare settings with confidence and competence. This was achieved through hands-on training in injection techniques, blood sampling procedures, and wound suturing, while emphasizing safety standards and infection control measures.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Saeed Al-Afifi from the Medical Training Foundation–Jordan and witnessed strong student engagement, reflecting their enthusiasm for developing their practical skills. Through such initiatives, the faculty reaffirms its commitment to providing high-quality training opportunities that contribute to preparing qualified graduates capable of meeting the evolving demands of the labor market.
