Training Workshop on Injection Techniques, Blood Sampling & Wound Suturing for Pharmacy Students

​​As part of its ongoing efforts to support the academic and practical skills of our pharmacy students, the Faculty of Pharmacy / Social and Cultural Committee organized a training workshop titled “Injection Techniques, Blood Sampling and Wound Suturing” on Thursday, 16/04/2026, at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Applied Science Private University.

The workshop aimed to equip students with essential clinical skills and enhance their ability to perform routine medical procedures safely and effectively. It included hands-on training related to injection techniques, proper blood sampling procedures, and basic wound suturing, with a strong emphasis on safety standards and infection control.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Saeed Al-Afifi, representing the Medical Training Foundation – Jordan. It witnessed a strong student engagement, with participants showing great interest in applying the acquired skills in practice. At the conclusion of the workshop, the faculty administration expressed its appreciation to the organizers, reaffirming its commitment to offering such activities that contribute to developing students’ competencies and preparing them for the job market.
