The Faculty of Pharmacy at Applied Science Private University held a workshop on first aid and fire response in the workplace on Wednesday, 12-10-2025. The workshop covered the priorities of first aid and the proper handling of cases such as loss of consciousness, seizures, choking, fractures, and fire incidents, with the aim of enhancing the preparedness of the academic and administrative staff to deal with such situations should they occur.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Samar Thiab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, thanked Eng. Sabah Al-Adwan, Chair of the University’s Public and Occupational Safety Committee, and Mr. Ahmad Al-Wahshat for delivering this valuable workshop and for their continued cooperation with the faculty staff to achieve the highest levels of safety for our students in the faculty and the university.
