The Cultural and Social Committee and the Alumni Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a lecture titled "National Policies to Promote the Rational Use of Antibiotics in Jordan", as part of the activities for World AMR Awareness Week 2025.
This event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of antimicrobial resistance and to highlight the importance of the rational use of antibiotics in accordance with the national policies adopted in Jordan.
The lecture was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Hall 4026, with the attendance of faculty and administrative members as well as postgraduate students.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jabr Mohammad Jabr, Head of the Rational Use and Pharmacovigilance Department at the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, who discussed key practices supporting the optimal use of antibiotics and the national challenges in addressing antimicrobial resistance.
