The pharmaceutical industry in Jordan is considered one of the leading sectors in the Arab region and has reached many global markets. For this reason, the Pharmacy Practice Group at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Applied Science Private University organized a visit to one of these distinguished pharmaceutical companies.
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, a group of students from the Faculty visited the JOSWE, located in Na'our. The company's staff led the students on a tour of the various production lines and departments. During the visit, there was an interactive discussion where production supervisors answered the students’ questions and expressed their admiration for the students’ level of knowledge, which was evident in their engagement with the explanations regarding the equipment and operational procedures in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Following the tour, the students attended a lecture in the company’s meeting hall, which focused on the role and job opportunities for pharmacists in pharmaceutical companies, including manufacturing, medical promotion, drug registration, and more.
