An Inspiring journey from the living realities of pharmacists shared at the faculty of pharmacy on Wednesday, June 11, 2024 , A unique workshop titled: "Breast Cancer - The Role of the Pharmacist" was organized, where the journey of a breast cancer patient begins from the moment of diagnosis. A comprehensive treatment plan is developed, which includes sequential steps based on the type of the disease, the patient’s condition, and the importance of closely following each part of the treatment plan. This involves paying attention to the finest details and observations that can reduce complications and potential side effects, as well as offering advice and support that plays a fundamental role in the patient's healing.

On the other side, one of the breast cancer survivors shared her experience, discussing how change can be made and the necessity of committing to restoring health balance in all aspects of life, leading to a new mindset and a new life.

The discussion was further enriched by the latest discoveries and pioneering research in breast cancer treatment, highlighting the progress made and the effectiveness of new solutions that contribute to increasing survival rates and reducing side effects.
