The study aimed to identify the transformations that occurred in the landscape in contemporary Painting, to shed light on its history, development and its characteristics through the ages, and to identify the reflections of contemporary art on the depiction of the landscape in terms of thought, technique, material, style and construction. In This study, the researcher relied on the description and analysis of a sample of the works of contemporary artists in depicting the landscape. The researcher reached several results, the most important of which are: that Landscape Painting is still capable of evolving in its form, thought, philosophy, and approach, despite all the new techniques and genres created by contemporary arts. The Landscape Painting has its role, impact, and important spaces in contemporary arts and galleries.as confirmed by the results the study showed that Landscape Painting underwent major transformations during the time of the study’s borders from 1980 to 2022, and it did not stop or excluded from the artistic scene, as happened in previous eras. Which in turn reflected in the landscape painting. In light of this stylistic diversity in Contemporary Painting, and landscape Painting in particular, it seems difficult today to classify, frame, or confine these methods to artistic schools, trends, or currents, as was prevalent in modern arts.
