As part of Applied Science Private University and the Faculty of Art and Design’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest developments in education and training and strengthening their presence at specialized events and conferences, the University
participated in the 10th Arab Professional Training Conference, held under the theme “Vocational and Technical Training: A Gateway to Transformation” on Wednesday and Thursday, August 12–13, 2026, at the Amman Chamber of Commerce Theater.
Dr. Alis Shbaita represented the Faculty of Art and Design at the conference. Her participation reflected the Faculty’s commitment to keeping abreast of recent developments in training, skills and competency development, as well as emerging trends related to the evolving needs and requirements of the labor market.
The conference addressed the future of vocational and technical training, emphasizing the importance of developing programs based on competencies and learning outcomes, enhancing the quality and effectiveness of training outcomes, and exploring the role of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and professional accreditation in preparing qualified professionals capable of competing in today’s modern workplace
