Employing Glass in Interior Design of Modern Mosques in

Abstract

This study follow the descriptive approach based on the description of glass raw
materials and the collection of information and data reported through documented and
categorized and displayed in addition to the express them in contributing to reach
conclusions about the constituent elements of the raw glass and the mechanism used
in their manufacture, composition, composition and touched on how they were
recruited these raw materials and use them in Under Islamic Interior Architecture,
where she discussed the content of this letter about the general concept of the glass
material and how they have been implemented within the spaces of the mosques in
Amman city .
 This study found a set of conclusions about the material glass large and its
importance for the mosques on the grounds that the glass an important part in the
formation and the formation of a space interior of the mosque of different forms of
glass, types and sizes and the important role in the granting of mosques three aspects
of the mission and functionally and aesthetically and spiritually.
 This study shows that the problem of research and its importance and its borders
and included in addition to clarify the desired objectives and offer samples upon
which this study.
 Through the chapters of which the first chapter is the study of glass definition and
historical overview and industry and a mechanism to identify it as one of the
important raw materials in human life, and methods of manufacturing industries to
identify the glass features, and traditional industries, art glass, in addition to the glass
raw materials and crafts arts techniques, types of glass employee in architecture The
definition and forms.
 The second chapter dealt with methods used in the recruitment of glass in the
interior design of the building through the ages and the main role in Islamic art
especially in terms of its industry and its spread and decoration and employed in
various fields, especially in the Islamic internal architecture and how to employ glass
ores in the determinants of vertical and horizontal doors and windows (Stained Glass
with plaster) domes and walls and floors.
 The content of third Chapter contains allocates a large area in the study of
research samples of hand the possibility of employing glass ores of the mosques in
Amman city.
