The Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University organized a simplified training workshop titled "Creating a Designer’s Portfolio," delivered by Engineer Rakan Al-Ansari.
The workshop targeted students from various disciplines within the faculty, aiming to enhance their readiness for the job market and develop their professional tools.
The workshop covered several key topics, including the fundamentals of preparing a professional portfolio — from organizing pages and structuring the file, to professionally and attractively presenting previous projects, and finally preparing and formatting illustrations according to locally and internationally recognized professional standards.
The workshop aimed to empower students to present themselves and their work in a way that reflects their creative and artistic skills, while emphasizing the importance of balancing visual presentation and technical content within each project included in the portfolio.
The session witnessed notable student engagement, offering them an opportunity to discuss and ask questions in an interactive atmosphere. This contributed to broadening their professional horizons and raising their awareness of the importance of the portfolio as a key marketing tool in their career journey.
