Several faculty members from the Department of Fashion and Accessories Design at the Faculty of Art and Design, Applied Science Private University, participated in a specialized workshop organized in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Amman Chamber of Industry. The event was part of the second phase of the MENATEX project.
The workshop aimed to strengthen the integration between the academic sector and the apparel industry in Jordan, with a focus on circular economy concepts, supporting student research projects, and developing effective partnerships between universities and industrial companies. It also addressed mechanisms for aligning academic education with actual labor market needs and encouraged practical training and sustainable innovation in the textile sector.
This participation reflects the university’s commitment to developing practice-based educational programs in cooperation with industrial partners, contributing to the preparation of qualified graduates who meet the demands of the industrial sector and support sustainable development.
