22-4-2025

As part of the Applied Science Private University’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary integration, the Faculty of Arts and Design – Department of Fashion Design and Accessories, in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, organized a comprehensive workshop on first aid. The workshop aimed to equip students with essential life skills that enhance their preparedness to handle emergency situations.

The workshop, held on the university campus, witnessed significant attendance from students, faculty members, and supervisors, during which extensive information was provided on how to respond quickly and effectively to sudden injuries or critical conditions.

The workshop focused on the basic principles of first aid, with an emphasis on how to manage common injuries such as cuts, bleeding, and burns, as well as the correct steps to provide immediate care in various emergency situations. The session was led by a group of healthcare specialists, who provided a detailed practical explanation supported by live demonstrations and hands-on exercises. This allowed students the opportunity to actively participate and apply what they had learned, helping to solidify concepts and build their confidence in responding correctly during accidents.

The workshop saw great interaction from the attendees, with students expressing their enthusiasm for benefiting from these experiences, which are valuable not only in a professional context but also in everyday life.

This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to provide an inclusive educational environment that encourages collaboration across disciplines, while enhancing students’ academic and practical skills, preparing them to face future challenges with competence and responsibility.
