​As part of the university’s celebrations of Jordan’s Flag Day, the Faculty of Art and Design participated in this national event by creating an innovative artwork that symbolically expressed the values and noble meanings embodied in the Jordanian flag.

The event was honored by the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Haytham Abu-Khadeeja, alongside the University President, Professor Dr. Samiha Jarrah, and the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design, Professor Dr. Emad Al Fahmawee. They expressed pride in the artistic work presented by the students, which reflected their national awareness and creative talents. Dr. Abu-Khadeeja reaffirmed his continued support for the students and his encouragement of such initiatives that merge art with patriotic belonging.

The artistic work consisted of thirty individual art pieces that were drawn and painted during the celebration, with the active participation of students from the faculty and under the supervision of the Drawing Club Committee at the faculty, represented by faculty member Lec. Mohammad Sobuh. These pieces were assembled to form a cohesive and vibrant artwork that pulsates with creativity and reflects a deep sense of national identity and pride.

This participation served to highlight the role of the arts in fostering national belonging and expressing patriotic values through creative means. It also provided students with the opportunity to engage meaningfully in national events and to establish their artistic presence within the university's cultural space.
