For the fifteenth consecutive year, the Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University organized its annual initiative "The Joy of an Orphan", as part of the "Eid Gift and Outfit" campaign held during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative aims to promote the values of social solidarity and community compassion.
The event was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, during which 40 orphaned children were accompanied to select new clothes in preparation for the joyous celebration of Eid al-Fitr, all within an atmosphere of happiness and festivity.
The initiative seeks to bring happiness to the hearts of orphaned children by providing Eid clothing, while also fostering a spirit of volunteerism and reinforcing a culture of social cooperation. This year, 25 student volunteers from the faculty took part in the initiative, playing a key role in its success and in realizing its humanitarian goals.
This initiative is part of a broader series of charitable activities that the Faculty of Art and Design is committed to organizing annually, in alignment with its mission to serve the community and cultivate a sense of social responsibility among students.
