The Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design – organized a site visit to the International Kitchens Company Factory in Sahab, As a part of the course “Technical Drawings 2”.
The visit was supervised by the course instructors: Dr. Afaq Al-Ramahi and Lec. Alaa Al-Zoubi, and accompanied by: Ms. Tasneem Al-Adwan, Ms. Dana Al-Masri, Ms. Maha Al-Momani, and Ms. Firdous Al-Natsheh.
This educational trip aimed to familiarize students with the full manufacturing process of kitchen units, starting from wood cutting, painting, and assembling different components, all the way to the final product—based on the type of wood and production methods used.
Students had the opportunity to meet MR. Rashed Abu Ouda, the company’s General Manager, who provided valuable insights and explanations about the production process. A specialized team from the factory also accompanied the students, offering detailed step-by-step demonstrations that helped connect the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
