​The Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University, represented by the Department of Design and Visual Communication, organized a series of specialized training workshops in the field of digital media design. These workshops aimed to develop students’ creative and practical skills while enriching their knowledge and professional competencies.

A workshop entitled “Illustration Art” was delivered by Lec. Mahmoud Salem, introducing students to the fundamentals of illustration, its various techniques, and its role in visual design and creative communication.

The department also organized a training workshop entitled “Designing Applied Products Using Cold Porcelain”, presented by Lec. Heba Al Tawalbeh. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ creative and practical skills by introducing them to the basics of shaping and coloring cold porcelain clay and its applications in designing artistic products and accessories. The workshop included hands-on activities that enabled students to transform their creative ideas into distinctive artistic models, providing an experience that combined learning with practical application.

In the field of animation, Lec. Omar Qandeel delivered a workshop entitled “3D Animation Pipeline”, which explored the various stages of producing 3D animated films, beginning with concept development and story writing and continuing through to final directing and editing. The workshop also highlighted the relationship between production stages and the academic courses studied by students, contributing to a deeper understanding of how skills and knowledge are integrated within a professional working environment that simulates international production studios.

These workshops reflect the Faculty of Art and Design’s commitment to linking theoretical knowledge with practical application and providing students with opportunities to explore the latest professional practices in the fields of design and digital media.
