​The Faculty of Art and Design at ASU participated in the workshop “Digital Transformation for Business Support Organizations,” organized by the International Trade Centre (ITC) as part of the MENATEX II Program. The workshop was held in Amman and brought together representatives from various business support institutions and organizations.

Representing the Faculty were Dr. Sara Al-Kateeb, Head of the Department of Fashion Design and Accessories, and Lec. Hadeel Quraan from the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication. The workshop aimed to strengthen the digital transformation capabilities of participating institutions, assess their level of digital maturity, and explore best practices and modern strategies for enhancing digital services, improving operational processes, and increasing organizational efficiency.

The workshop also featured training sessions and interactive discussions addressing approaches to digital transformation planning, identifying challenges and opportunities, and developing strategic action plans that contribute to improving institutional performance and enhancing the ability to keep pace with rapid technological advancements.

This participation reflects the Faculty’s commitment to advancing its institutional and academic capabilities and strengthening partnerships with local and international organizations. Such initiatives contribute to fostering an innovative educational environment, supporting creativity, and ensuring alignment with the evolving demands of digital transformation and the modern labor market.
