The Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University welcomed students from Al-Bayader Secondary & Professional School on Thursday, May 7, 2026, as part of an introductory visit aimed at exploring the artistic and design specializations offered by the faculty.
The visit included a tour of the faculty’s main facilities, where Lec. Fatima Samara introduced the students to the laboratories, classrooms, and various educational resources, providing an overview of academic life as well as the artistic and extracurricular activities offered within the faculty.
The visit also featured a specialized workshop in accessory design, held in the Accessories Lab and presented by Dr. Ahmad Al-Barbari and Dr. Olivia Hijaz. During the workshop, students were introduced to the fundamentals of accessory design, the materials used, and methods of transforming creative ideas into practical designs through an interactive hands-on experience.
This visit reflects the Faculty of Art and Design’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with schools and introducing students to the academic environment and creative disciplines, contributing to the development of their artistic interests and encouraging them to explore various fields of art and design.
