The workshop was delivered by Lec. Fatma Samara.
The workshop targeted students from grades seven through ten, with the participation of ten students. It covered the basics of drawing and artistic composition, starting with drawing shapes and explaining the concepts of light, shadow, and shading techniques, and moving toward creating artistic compositions using color. The content was presented using visual and interactive methods that suit the needs of the students and enhance their ability to understand and express themselves artistically.
The workshop also introduced the essential elements of an artwork such as: point, line, shape, and color; through practical exercises that helped develop the students creative senses and encouraged them to express their ideas and artistic abilities with confidence and innovation.
This workshop reflects the Faculty of Art & Design’s commitment to serving the community and strengthening engagement with its various groups through artistic and educational initiatives that support talent and nurture creative abilities within an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
