16-4-2026

As part of a series of training workshops organized by the Department of Interior Design at the Faculty of Art & Design at Applied Science Private University, the department delivered a specialized workshop titled “Construction Drawings,” presented by Lec. Bahaa Mualla, with the participation of a number of the department’s students. The workshop took place on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

The workshop aimed to introduce students to the importance of construction drawings and their fundamental role in transforming design ideas into precise, executable plans. It also covered the principles and standards adopted in preparing drawings, including dimensioning, details, annotation systems, and sheet presentation.

Additionally, the workshop included a practical demonstration on how to prepare construction drawings for interior design projects, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and integrating aesthetic aspects with functional and technical requirements.

This workshop comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, and to equip students with the technical skills necessary to meet the demands of the job market.
