16-4-2026

As part of a series of training workshops organized by the Department of Interior Design at the Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University, the department conducted a specialized workshop on architectural drawing and its requirements on Thursday, April 16, 2026, with the participation of 30 first-year students.

The workshop was delivered by Lec. Khaled Al-Radaideh, and aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of architectural drawing while developing their skills in producing professional architectural plans. It included practical training on drafting plans using AutoCAD, in addition to explaining the core principles of architectural drawing, such as measurement accuracy, element organization, and the correct use of architectural symbols.

The workshop also emphasized the practical application of these concepts, which contributed to enhancing students’ understanding and equipping them with the essential foundational skills required to engage in the field of interior design and to develop integrated architectural plans.

This workshop comes as part of the department’s continuous efforts to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, and to equip students with the technical skills necessary to meet the evolving demands of the interior design industry.
