Art and Design Students in a Visual Experience at the Hindiyeh Museum and Gallery

9-4-2025

The Department of Design and Visual Communication at the Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University organized a field visit to the Hindiyeh Museum and Gallery, as part of the courses “Design for Social Media” supervised by Lec. Ines Daradkeh, and “Scriptwriting and Digital Storyboarding” supervised by Dr. Haneen Almashayek, with the participation of approximately 50 male and female students.

During the visit, students toured the museum’s five floors, which feature a diverse collection of artworks. They explored the exhibited pieces, while the museum guide delivered a comprehensive explanation of the artworks, their styles, and various thematic dimensions. This made the visit both visually and intellectually enriching, contributing significantly to enhancing the students’ experience.

This visit comes as part of the Faculty of Art and Design’s commitment to strengthening the educational experience of its students and enriching their artistic knowledge through direct engagement with diverse artworks. It also aims to develop their visual and aesthetic awareness, broaden their artistic perspectives, and connect theoretical knowledge with real visual experiences that support and enrich their academic and artistic journey.
