As part of Applied Science Private University’s ongoing commitment to supporting creativity and innovation, and its distinguished approach to achieving success in international forums, the Faculty of Art and Design specifically the Department of Design and Visual Communication (Digital Media Design) has achieved a new accomplishment that adds to its academic excellence.

A joint project by students Aleen AlAttas and Hanna Katib received an Honorable Mention among the works submitted to the TITAN Design Challenge, a European initiative focused on creating interactive experiences and designs that enhance critical thinking and combat misinformation, with participation from universities and academic institutions from around the world.

This recognition was awarded in appreciation of their innovative project, which focused on redesigning the user experience of the TITAN platform by developing modern user interfaces that make the content easier to understand, strengthen critical thinking skills, and improve the platform’s usability and user appeal. The students were also invited to attend the competition’s results announcement ceremony, held in Rome, Italy, via online participation, in recognition of the project’s quality and distinction.  The project was carried out under the academic supervision of Lec. Hadeel Quraan, reflecting the college’s dedication to integrating creative design with international standards in global competitions.

Through this achievement, the university reaffirms its commitment to supporting and empowering its students to compete globally, showcasing the level of academic excellence and creativity that the College of Arts and Design strives to foster across all its programs.
