Set up by the Drawing Club Committee at the Faculty of Art and Design, two watercolor workshops - using aquarelle and acrylic techniques- were held on Thursday, November 20th, in the faculty studios, led by Dr. Manal Barqawi and Lec. Mahmoud Salem.
The workshops saw strong participation from students across various majors. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals and techniques of watercolor painting, its types, and methods of application. They also explored dry and wet coloring techniques, as well as different approaches to acrylic painting and its diverse possibilities.
At the end of the workshops, students presented a collection of creative artworks that reflected their artistic sensibility and the diversity of their expressive styles. These workshops are part of the Drawing Club’s ongoing activities within its semester plan, aimed at refining students’ artistic skills and nurturing their creative spirit.
