​As part of its commitment to strengthening the practical aspect of learning and linking theoretical study with real-world application, the Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University organized a field visit to Feras Printing Press within the course “Materials and Techniques in Graphic Design.” The visit was supervised by Dr. Ali Hammouri and Tahreer  AlQaryouti, and the university delegation was warmly received by Mr. Badr Safadi, Chairman of the Board, and Eng. Zahir Safdi, who provided a detailed presentation on the advanced technologies and high standards adopted at the printing press. The presentation included an overview of the various printing stages, samples of materials and substrates, and the types of equipment and software used in production. They emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration and its vital role in supporting the educational process by bridging theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. At the end of the visit, Dr. Ali Hammouri, representing the Faculty of Art and Design, presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Badr Safadi in recognition of his efforts in making the visit a success and enriching students’ practical experience. This visit reflects the vision of the Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University to empower students by connecting academic knowledge with professional practice in real-world environments — helping them develop their skills and prepare to become creative designers capable of meeting the evolving demands of the design industry.
