The Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University welcomed its new students for the 2025–2026 academic year in an atmosphere filled with creativity, joy, and inspiration.
The welcoming ceremony was held on Monday, November 11, 2025, at Al-Haj Abdullah Abu Khadija Auditorium in the Faculty of Dentistry, in the presence of the Dean, faculty and administrative members, and a large gathering of students.
The event commenced with an opening speech delivered by the Dean, who warmly welcomed the new students and expressed his pride in their joining the Faculty of Art and Design family. He emphasized the faculty’s commitment to supporting students throughout their academic and creative journey, encouraging them to explore their potential and cultivate their talents across the diverse disciplines of art and design.
The ceremony featured an artistic theatrical sketch organized by the Cultural Committee and performed by a group of students. The performance carried a set of awareness and educational messages introducing the university’s systems and academic terms such as Incomplete, Student Guide, Blended Learning, and On-Campus Classes, along with useful instructions and guidelines for first-year students.
The event concluded with the honoring of outstanding students from various departments. The Dean and heads of departments presented certificates of appreciation to the distinguished students, followed by the distribution of welcome gifts to the newcomers as a gesture of hospitality and celebration of their joining the faculty community.
The ceremony reflected the spirit of creativity, belonging, and excellence that characterizes the Faculty of Art and Design, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing talented young artists and designers within an inspiring academic environment.
