Aesthetics of Design and the Function of Space… Interior Design Students Visit the National Library

30-10-2025

The Department of Interior Design at Applied Science Private University organized a field visit to the Jordanian National Library on October 30, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Osama Hassan, as part of the course “Interior Design for Public Spaces.”

During the visit, students explored the organization of interior spaces, lighting distribution, furniture selection, and material choices, with a focus on drawing inspiration from cultural and national identity within the design details.

The visit enhanced students’ analytical skills and strengthened their ability to connect aesthetics with functionality in public spaces, in line with the Faculty’s vision to promote practical and creative learning.

This visit comes as part of the Faculty of Art and Design’s mission to broaden students’ applied and field learning horizons, linking them to real-world environments that offer a comprehensive design experience combining knowledge, creativity, and cultural identity.
