The Faculty of Art and Design held its second meeting on Thursday, October 9, addressing a number of important topics that contribute to the academic and artistic development of the faculty. 

During the meeting, Lec. Oraib Al-Sbaihi presented an overview of the faculty’s strategic plan, outlining future steps aimed at enhancing the quality of education and expanding opportunities for creativity and innovation within the faculty. During the meeting several issues related to the faculty’s various departments was also discussed, with the goal of strengthening interdepartmental collaboration and developing both academic and artistic programs in alignment with the faculty’s vision and objectives. These efforts are consistent with the goals of ASU, which strives to achieve academic and research excellence, foster an educational environment that encourages creativity and innovation, and prepare qualified graduates equipped with the skills and knowledge that meet the needs of the job market and serve the community. 

At the end of the meeting, and in an atmosphere filled with creativity, warmth, and appreciation, several distinguished colleagues were congratulated for their achievements in scientific research, as well as those who had received academic promotions in recognition of their efforts and outstanding accomplishments. This gathering reflected the spirit of belonging and mutual respect among faculty members and highlighted everyone’s commitment to continuing the journey of academic excellence and artistic innovation within the Faculty of Art and Design.
