A Journey into Creativity: Al-Hussein School Students Explore the World of Art and Design

The Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University welcomed a group of 25 students from Al-Hussein Secondary Profesional School for Girls – Zarqa, enrolled in the British International BTEC Program, accompanied by four teachers. The visit aimed to introduce the students to the disciplines of art and design and their various creative fields. 

This initiative reflects the faculty’s role in supporting the university’s vision to promote awareness of its academic programs and provide students with opportunities to explore diverse areas of art and creativity. 

The visiting group was welcomed by Dr. Ali Hamouri, Dr.Ahmad Elbarbary, Lec. Ines Daradkeh, Lec. Baha Mualla, and Lec. Ahmad Issa, who accompanied them on a tour that included the faculty’s art gallery, materials lab, design studios, and fashion department. Throughout the visit, the students were introduced to the nature of artistic and practical work carried out within the faculty. 

The visit was concluded with a lecture by Mr. Ahmad Issa in one of the college’s laboratories, where he highlighted the creative and academic aspects of art disciplines. The session offered the students a closer look at the world of design and art, inspiring them and opening new horizons toward a promising academic and creative future.
