The Faculty of Art and Design – Interior Design Department participated in the launch event of the Net Zero Energy Buildings Guide, held on October 6, 2025, through a dedicated exhibition booth where students presented two outstanding academic projects in the field of sustainable interior design. The showcased projects included the National Library Project by student Aheda Bsisu and the Cultural Heritage Preservation Project for a historic building in Downtown Amman by student Mohammad Hamadeh.
The projects were highly praised by event participants for their innovative ideas that embodied the principles of sustainability and the preservation of architectural and cultural identity in interior design.
The event was attended by Dr. Ruba Jadallah and Lec. Omar Hawashin, along with participating students Aheda Bsisu, Mohammad Hamadeh, and Dana Al-Badawi. This participation aligns with the vision of the Faculty of Art and Design at the Applied Science Private University to enhance students’ awareness of green design and sustainability concepts, and to connect academic creativity with the national transformation toward a more sustainable future.
