Under the emblem of His Excellency the Minister of Culture, Mr. Mustafa Rawashdeh, the Faculty of Art and Design at the Applied Science Private University took part in the 10th Dana Creative Camp, organized by the Directorate of Culture in Tafila Governorate from October 4 to 6.
The Faculty was represented by Lec. Mohammad Sobuh, who served on the Art and Fine Arts Exhibition Committees, contributing to the selection of artworks showcased in the fields of sculpture, painting, visual arts, and Arabic calligraphy. These distinguished works were featured in the general exhibition of the camp’s tenth edition.
The Faculty of Art and Design has previously participated in several editions of the Dana Creative Camp through Lec. Mohammad Sobuh, who has conducted training workshops for the youth of Tafila Governorate. Through his artistic contributions and supervision, he has played an active role in showcasing the aesthetic richness and environmental diversity of the Dana region.
At the closing ceremony, participants were honored by His Excellency the Minister of Culture, Mr. Mustafa Rawashdeh, and Dr. Salem Al-Faqeer, Tafila Director of Culture. In his address, Dr. Al-Faqeer highlighted the importance of collaboration and continuous engagement between academic and cultural institutions in promoting culture and advancing national art and creativity. this participation reflects the Faculty of Art and Design’s steadfast commitment to supporting the arts and culture in Jordan and strengthening its active presence within the national creative landscape across a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines.
