Applied Science Private University organized a training workshop titled “Towards a World of Professionalism in Fashion Design”, presented by Lecturer Nancy Najeeb from the Department of Fashion and Accessories Design. at the Fashion Design lab in the faculty.
The workshop addressed several key topics, including the principles of designing and executing geometric patterns in fashion, hands-on training in accurate measurement techniques, and drawing the basic geometric model for clothing pieces. It also included modifying basic patterns to suit contemporary designs, accompanied by direct practical exercises on fabrics.
This workshop aimed to enhance participants’ skills and empower them to enter the world of fashion design with a level of professionalism that combines creativity and precision. and reflects the Faculty of Art and Design’s commitment at Applied Science Private University to enabling participants to develop their skills and refine their creativity in the field of fashion design.
