Field Trip for Digital Media Design Students to Mundo Media company

9-8-2025

As part of its ongoing commitment to developing student skills and preparing highly qualified professionals for the digital industry, Applied Science Private University organized a field trip for students enrolled in the 2D Animation II course — a core subject in the Digital Media Design program, offered by the Department of Design and Visual Communication at the Faculty of Art and Design.

Under the supervision of Dr. Haneen Al-Mashayekh and Ms. Hadeel Hassan, the students visited Mundo Media, a creative content production company. The visit provided a rare glimpse behind the scenes of a dynamic industry, where students explored real projects that had made an impact in the market and resonated with audiences.

During the tour, students engaged directly with the creative teams behind the work — gaining insight into the full production process, from idea conception to final execution. They explored various departments, including video editing, animation, graphic design, and even visited live filming sets, witnessing firsthand how concepts are transformed into engaging visual content.

This field trip reflects the university’s dedication to bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice. By offering real-world exposure, the Faculty of Arts and Design ensures its students are well-equipped to enter the workforce with confidence, creativity, and a solid foundation of hands-on experience.

Far more than a simple visit, the experience was a source of inspiration — empowering future designers with the knowledge and motivation to leave their own mark on the digital media landscape.
