As part of the Applied Science Private University’s ongoing efforts to expand cooperation with private-sector institutions, the Department of Visual Communication and Design at the Faculty of Art and Design signed a cooperation agreement with Doculand Company on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the office of the Dean of the Faculty.

The agreement aims to strengthen the practical and training aspects of the Graphic Design program by providing students with opportunities for hands-on training and orientation workshops in digital printing, file preparation, and archiving. It also seeks to familiarize students with the realities of the printing industry and its professional requirements.

Additionally, the agreement includes the possibility of offering future employment opportunities for outstanding graduates, supporting students in their graduation projects, and providing access to resources and references that enhance their academic research. It also encourages joint research initiatives between the Faculty and the company.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Emad Al Fahmawee and Lec. Fatma Samara, in the presence of Dr. Ali Hammouri, Head of the Department of Visual Communication and Design. Mr. Khaled Hochar and Ms. Dana Daoud, a distinguished graduate of the department, represented the company.​

Both parties emphasized that this collaboration represents a constructive step toward bridging the gap between academic education and the labor market, contributing to the preparation of students capable of keeping pace with technological and creative advancements in the fields of modern design and printing.
