Molecular Impacts of Innovative Oral Targeted 5Fluorouracil Nano Formulas Against Colon Cancer
This research presents the development and molecular evaluation of novel oral nanoformulations of 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) targeting colorectal cancer. Using advanced in-situ gelling nanosuspensions, the study demonstrated enhanced drug stability, targeted delivery to colon tissues, and improved cytotoxicity against cancer cells. The work led to two U.S. patents and laid the foundation for translational nanomedicine approaches in GI tract cancers.
