A prolific researcher, Dr. Abdullah has published over 45 peer-reviewed articles in internationally indexed journals, including International Journal of Pharmaceutics, Food Hydrocolloids, and Journal of Biological Macromolecules. Her research focuses on nano formulations for cancer therapy, sustainable biopolymers, and pharmaceutical delivery systems, bridging academia and clinical applications.

She is also a recognized innovator and global facilitator, serving as an official mentor and workshop leader for the IREX Global Solutions Program (USAID) and speaker at international platforms including SIPHA, Falling Walls Berlin, and Controlled Release Society. Notably, she was awarded the Emerging Talent Award 2024 by Falling Walls, Germany.

Her intellectual property portfolio includes multiple international patents filed with the USPTO, and she has received competitive funding from national and international institutions such as Kingdom of the Netherland (Netherlands), the Royal Scientific Society (Jordan), King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia), and the Ministry of Higher Education (Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia)​
