On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Faculty of Law at the University of Applied Sciences organized a field visit to the Amman Court of First Instance (Palace of Justice) in Amman, the capital city. The visit aimed to enhance students' practical experience and connect it to the theoretical concepts they learn in courses on civil procedure and enforcement law. This contributed to a deeper understanding of judicial procedures and the role of courts in resolving disputes. The visit included several departments within the court, including the Enforcement Department and the Notary Public's Office. The visit included a discussion session with a group of judges, who provided a detailed overview of the procedures followed in civil cases, from their registration in the court records, through the stages of hearings and the presentation of evidence and defenses, to the issuance and enforcement of judgments to ensure the fulfillment of the disputed rights. The judges also discussed the administrative and organizational mechanisms employed by the court in managing cases. At the end of the visit, the students were given the opportunity to engage in an interactive discussion with judges, court staff, and a number of lawyers on various legal topics, which contributed to enhancing their understanding of the practical aspects of litigation and strengthening the link between theory and judicial practice.
